Concrete slab in warehouse 6" thick poured over 6-mil polyethlene vapor barrier. Concrete 3000-psi mix with fibers. Portion of slab is reinforced with #4 rebar in area shown on plans.

Convention & Visitors Bureau Special Events Assistance

The Hardin County Convention and Visitors Bureau will assist special events that take place in Hardin County, that are open to the public and that bring tourists to Hardin County for the event.

The following services are available to events meeting the above criteria:

  • Assistance with publicity for the event, including writing and sending press releases to area media and scheduling interviews with interested media contacts
  • Providing a copy of our media list to the sponsoring organization, if requested
  • Assisting in the solicitation of volunteers for the event
  • Providing Hardin County promotional materials for the event

  • Consideration for cooperative advertising with the CVB

Shiloh National Military Park

Shiloh National Military Park was established in 1894 to preserve the scene of the first major battle in the Western theater of the Civil War. The two-day battle, April 6 and 7, 1862, involved about 65,000 Union and 44,000 Confederate troops.
