TOURISM DEPARTMENT TO COLLECT CANS FOR EARTH DAY

The Hardin County Convention & Visitors Bureau will be collecting aluminum cans for the month of April in honor of Earth Day, which is celebrated on April 22. 

The proceeds from the cans collected will benefit this year’s Fourth of July Fireworks at Pickwick Landing State Park.

“The Hardin County Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited about this project which will help raise awareness for Earth Day and the importance of recycling.  We encourage all interested citizens & businesses to bring their cans to the TN River Museum for collection,” said Tourism Director Rachel Baker.
